How do I sign up and create my community?

To sign up, go to jotterly.co and click "Create your free account". Fill in your name, email and community name, confirm your email, and you will land in your admin dashboard ready to set up your first event.

The whole flow takes about two minutes. No credit card is needed at sign up.

What you will need

  • Your name and an email address you can access right now (you will need to click a confirmation link).
  • The name of your group, for example Greenfield Primary Parent Council.
  • Whether your group is a parent council, school, sports club, hobby group or other community type. You can change this later.

Steps

  1. Open jotterly.co and click Create your free account in the top right.
  2. Enter your name and email address. Choose a password.
  3. Enter your community name and pick the community type that fits best.
  4. Click Sign up. We will send a confirmation email. Open it and click the link to verify your address.
  5. Once confirmed, you will be signed in and dropped into your admin dashboard.

You are now an admin of your community. You can invite other people to help run things later.

What you will see on first sign in

A short setup checklist with four steps:

  1. Add a community description and logo so supporters know who you are.
  2. Set a support email so buyers know who to contact if something goes wrong.
  3. Connect Stripe so you can take card payments.
  4. Create your first event.

You can dismiss the banner with the × in the corner once you are done.
