Hyndland Primary Parent Council collects and uses personal data to run our community — our events, ticketing, shop and fundraising. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights. We use Jotterly (jotterly.co) to run these activities; Jotterly stores and processes this information securely on our behalf as our data processor — see Jotterly's privacy policy for how the platform handles data.

What we collect

• your name and email address
• records of events you attend and tickets you buy
• shop orders: what you bought, quantities and the amount paid
• donations you make and any message you leave with them
• volunteer roles you offer to help with
• answers to any questions we ask when you register or buy (for example dietary or accessibility needs)

Why we collect it

We use your information to run our events and shop, process your orders and payments, send you confirmations and receipts, keep in touch about our activities, and keep proper records.

Marketing

We only send you marketing or newsletter emails if you have asked us to. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we'll stop straight away.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that help us run our community:

• Jotterly (jotterly.co) — our events, ticketing, shop and fundraising platform, acting as our data processor
• Stripe — to process payments securely when you buy a ticket or item or make a donation. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you're involved with our community, and for a reasonable period afterwards. Records we're legally required to keep — such as financial records — are kept for 6 years.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you marketing. To make a request, contact [email protected]. We'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
